I am an associate professor at the Department of Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tehran, Iran. Currently I am working on textual analysis of media characters. In order to do such analysis, I have made a selection of texts from among a variety of media. I am using the texts that have been produced by the Iranian TV, especially during 1980's war times. I have focused on modes of narrative expressions provided by an on-site soldier during Iraqi-imposed war on Iran, a war that lasted for eight years between 1980 and 1988. The phenomenological aspects of his expressions are unique and are worth explaining as a media charcter.
